We are excited to be bringing the Capital Grand Fondo ride back for a second year. No racing license no problem. This is a mass start event that is open to everyone. You choose the bike we provide the course and support to maximize your challenge and fun. We will have great support on the course to keep you rolling and well stocked aid stations to keep you fueled.
2016 Results Note: Results reflect the total ride time for each rider and does not take into consideration short cuts, circling back early, taking a detour or hanging out at the Brooklyn Tavern. We have five fun and exciting courses for you to choose from. The Dirty Grand Course is for anyone looking for the ultimate challenge on the pave and gravel. At just under 115 miles,5k feet of climbing, and 30 miles of gravel this should be challenging course. During the ride you will visit an abandoned nuclear facility, see spectacular views of the Olympics and Cascade Mountain range and visit the Brooklyn Tavern, the most remote tavern in Western WA. Dirty Grand Course Map The Grand Road Course is for anyone looking for the ultimate challenge all on pave. This course is the exact same one that the Pro/Elite men's field has race at the Capital Stage Race in the past. Ride fast and compare your finishing time with the pros from past events or take your time and enjoy the scenery and amazing roads. Grand Road Course Map The Dirty Medio Course is the little brother of the Dirty Grand Course with a lot less pavement and rewards of visiting the Brooklyn Tavern. Dirty Medio Course Map The Medio Road Course is for anyone looking for a fun but challenging ride on the pave. Medio Road Course Map The Mini Road Course is a short 27 mile loop on smooth country roads. This course is for anyone that just wants to get out and ride and enjoy the open roads. Rider Check In, Packet Pick Up, and Start Times Sunday June 18th, Rochester Primary School. Riders must be checked in 30 minutes prior to the start of the ride. Riders start 9am. Rider Conduct of Participants - All participants must were a helmet, follow all traffic laws at all times. This includes riding to the right side of the road and stopping for all stop signs. Participants must demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times, and behave in a way that respect the environment. |
